Welcome from the Wolves

Inquiries regarding general tours sign ups are available on our Tours page.

St. Francis has been amazing for our family!  Our son who is now in 3rd grade matriculated at kindergarten.  It was an easy transition and has loved the school ever since. The teachers and administrators are amazing!  The kids are very close and supportive of each other from TK to 8th grade.   It is a very positive environment.  Even though most commute to the school from different areas we still feel very connected.  It is a community of learning, care, service and support.  We started our daughter in TK this year.  I was nervous with her being only 4 years old.  She adjusted after just one day and loves her classmates.  The school is academically challenging but does not overload the kids with unnecessary work.  The many events and activities provide great socializing opportunities with other families.  The afterschool care is essential for us.  The kids have so much fun. Neither one of my children ever wants to leave early!, Alisha and Tom - April 2023. (Parents of a 3rd grader and TK student)

8th Grade

My son is in his fifth year at St. Francis Elementary.  He loves going to school, he has loved each teacher, teacher’s aide, and all of the extension staff members.  When we drop him off each morning, the Principal, Vice-Principal and other teachers and staff are at the entrances to the school, greeting the families and the kids - by name - each day.  As the school navigates the pandemic, communication has been excellent, and the teachers have been so patient with families just trying to keep it all together.   The school quickly and carefully pivoted when it was possible to be reopen, and developed and executed an excellent plan to safely bring kids back on campus if the family made that choice.  I can’t say enough how fortunate we are to have my son at a school run by an Administration that cares deeply about my son’s academic, social and emotional growth.  Our family chose to send him back on campus this fall when we could do so, and we feel confident in his safety because the team at the school has remained consistent and thorough in implementing their COVID plan.

The academics are superb – there are teachers at that school that are at the top of their field, constantly seeking out the best tools and resources to help the students achieve far beyond what a parent might expect their child to be doing at school.  There are definitely many in the Sacramento area.  We did check into several schools,  and when it came down to what felt right for us, it was St. Francis.    It’s a well-run organization staffed by wonderful, professional people that have chosen to share their talents with St. Francis students.  The spectacular academics, extra-curricular activities, sports and resources were only a part of our decision in selecting St. Francis.  In comparing schools we toured during our research, we also felt that St. Francis had clearly hired the warmest and most caring professionals and provided the most nurturing environment for our son. We have never looked back, Karen - December 2020 (Parent of a 3rd Grader)
